Come Learn About Breakwater!

8:30 am in our Library on Wednesdays - Oct. 5, Dec 7, Jan. 4, Feb. 1, Mar. 1, April 5, and May 3.

At the beginning of the new school year and throughout, we provide parents the opportunity to learn more about Breakwater.

We do have limited openings for this year and we cordially invite new families to come check us out!

Head of School, David Sullivan, will introduce our school and teaching model as well as our integrated curriculum. Classrooms are open from 9:00-9:45 am for you to observe the school and teaching models in action! This is an informal opportunity for parents to learn more about Breakwater and the programs we offer.  Please RSVP to attend one of these events or let our Director of Enrollment and Advancement, Moriah Perry, know if there is another time you would like to tour.

Admissions Open House and Harvest Festival

Saturday, November 5, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Whether you are looking for this year or next, Breakwater’s Annual Open House is an opportunity for all families (current and prospective) to visit classrooms, meet students, current parents and teachers, while learning about our authentic and integrated curriculum.  This is a fantastic opportunity to get to know Breakwater’s "science behind the magic"!  Bring a friend and come explore why Breakwater students are engaged, happy and curious learners!

Faculty, parents and students will be on hand to show you our school and help you get to know Breakwater!

Head of School David Sullivan will introduce our methods in a presentation outlining our mission and teaching model at 10:00am in the Jessie Auditorium. Classroom activities will be offered for learners of all ages, so come with your children and bring friends!

The Open House is immediately followed by our Harvest Festival from 12:00 - 2:00 pm. Celebrate the fall harvest with us by cider pressing, playing field games, experiencing interactive workshops and demonstrations highlighting Breakwater's dynamic Enrichment classes.

Bring your favorite harvest dish to share. Help us make this a "no waste" event: BYO P/B/M & U (Bring Your Own Plate/Bowl/Mug and Utensils.)
