Dear Kindergarten Families,
We have had a very productive and enjoyable few days.
Last Thursday we met with our new learning buddies which was a great success. The kids chose books to read to each other and then they played a few versions of tag including "My Little Pony Tag". Many laughs were had by all!
On Friday last week we had a Dance Party in the classroom.
Tuesday morning the children participated in the Science Challenge. They were all able to stand up on stage and present their project.
At recess, we spent a lot of time playing in the snow making snow people, snow angels, playing family and playing many versions of tag. The kids appreciated their warm clothes so that they could spend lots of time in the cold!
In the afternoon we had a music concert practice with the toddlers and preschoolers in the preschool's Woods Room. For the concert on Monday please have your child dressed in one solid color of your choice.
This Friday, 12/9, we are leaving for the JessieLand Nature Preserve in Cumberland at 8:30am. Please remember to dress your child very warmly, and pack a snack and lunch. We will return around 1pm.
Next week, the door is always open during Showcase Week exhibition days for parents to come in and visit. Stop by anytime on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday to see our Museum of Collections on display.
