Summer at Breakwater 2020

Our summer camps began on June 15th and we are excited to have campers back on campus! This summer camp season, our leadership and staff have updated our programs and health and safety practices in accordance with recommendations put in place by Governor, Janet Mills and the CDC. Our priorities are rooted in keeping campers and camp staff safe while still engaging in the numerous activities and traditions that make Summer at Breakwater so special. Space is still available in select programs this summer!

Should situations change where we have to alter our sessions or not offer programming for part of the summer, all families will receive a full refund if these changes impact their child’s registered camp program that has not yet started (learn more about our cancellation policies at the bottom of this page).

Registrations continue to come in - is your child registered for summer camp?

A reminder of our summer refund policy:

If Breakwater Cancels Camp:
In the event of a canceled program (due to health authorities mandating a campus closure or minimum camp class enrollment not being met), parents will be notified and provided a full refund (including deposit) or credit towards a new camp selection.

If a Family Cancels Registration:

All cancellations made two-weeks prior or more to the start of the camp session will be refunded in full minus the $100 deposit. Cancellations made 7 days prior to camp will be refunded 50% less than $100 deposit. Any cancellations made less than 7 days to the start of camp or after camp has started are non-refundable. Breakwater will not issue refunds in the event of missed camp days due to illness/injury, forgotten registrations, or behavioral concerns. In the event of a serious illness/injury or family emergency, Breakwater will evaluate the circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
