At 3pm today, August 26, we opened the door to the John W. Knight Curiosity Lab. Following the premier screening of the making the Curiosity Lab documentary short, Ella and Jackson Knight cut the ribbon that crossed the door and the discoveries began!
John was a brilliant engineer who was constantly inspired by and curious about the world around him. As part of his legacy, the Curiosity Lab aims to inspire a similar limitless curiosity and endless enthusiasm for making, breaking, understanding and questioning.
During it's inaugural use 100+ people - multigenerational families, friends, students, donors, and educators - from near and far experienced just this. They put together, took apart, wondered, played, poked, prodded, laughed, looked, ate and celebrated together! Thank you to all who attended, and to all who made this day possible through your generous support and commitment. For those who have yet to experience the Lab, just you wait! It is... well, amazingly cool.
