Read MoreEamonn Dundon began his Breakwater career in 2002 and graduated in our 8th grade class of 2012. We asked him to tell us a little bit about his life “beyond the breakwater” and to describe what a Breakwater education meant for him.

The Breakwater Youth Corps is an opportunity for alumni, eligible current students and high school-aged students from the surrounding community to work together at Breakwater during the summer to provide service to the campus, develop and foster important skills, and, if applicable, earn a minimum wage income.

Read MoreThe Capstone Project is a year long process in which Breakwater's 8th grade students pursue independent research on a topic of their choice, produce a substantial paper that reflects a deep understanding of the subject, conduct a visual and oral presentation before an audience, and, with the guidance of faculty and community mentors, complete a product inspired by their topic and a gift to the school from which they will soon graduate.
