Early Childhood Open House

Saturday, July 15 from 9 - 10:30am

Visit our toddler, preschool and kindergarten classrooms and tour Breakwater’s campus. Children are welcome! Preschool and toddler teachers will be on hand with materials and activities that demonstrate our philosophy of learning. Our Director of Admissions and Early Childhood Coordinator will provide information and applications for families interested in enrollment.

Cranes for Change: Student Initiated Service Learning

Cranes for Change is the self-adopted name a group of Breakwater fourth graders have chosen to describe a project inspired during their semester long integrated study of history’s peacemakers. After reading Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes by Eleanor Coerr, the students began folding small origami cranes and stringing them.

Embodied Mindfulness Course For Parents

This Embodied Mindfulness class teaches an active practice where participants learn how to use the widely acknowledged mind-body connection to implement or improve intentional parenting skills. Registration is open for this six week course at a special introductory cost to welcome our community to the Breakwater Parent and Professional Development programs.
